1 | Event times
Your event time is listed at the top of your Event Proposal.
You and your vendors have access to the facility 4 hours before the start time of the event. Clean up after the event is allotted for one hour. All of your personal belongings and decor must be collected and removed within this time.
2 | Rental fee
Our rental fees vary based on the day and time of day of your event.
3 | Bar package
We have bar packages based on your preferences, varying from House, Choice and Premium levels. Bar package prices are based on the number of guests. All bar packages include gratuity. Please see the Beer, Wine and Liquor Lists page in this portal for our selections.
If you are planning to have your event on a weekend, you were assigned a bar package in your Event Proposal that met the bar minimum for that day. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to see rates for other bar package options.
4 | Catering package
Our catering minimums are also dependent on the time of day and day of your event, and cover both food and service costs.
The Cookery requires your selected catering company to be full-service. Our List of Preferred Caterers is inclusive of local, full-service caterers that will ensure you have a delicious, smooth sailing experience. You will be working directly with your selected caterer for menu selection and service style. If you are interested in a catering company not on our list, please let us know. We are open to caterers not on our list, but they must be approved. Keep in mind that working with a caterer not listed on our preferred caterers list may include an additional staffing fee through Top Off Events in order to reach our full-service requirement.
How we work with the caterer:
You pay us, and we pay the caterer.
We do not mark up any of the caterer’s food costs, but we do charge the caterer a 9% Facility Fee based on food and labor.
The Facility Fee covers the caterer’s use of our kitchen, cleaning materials, a Cookery employed steward, equipment, and the cost to block our kitchen off for members’ use during the event.
Once you have decided on a caterer, The Cookery will email you to confirm your caterer selection and estimate. We will place a 50% deposit with the caterer on your behalf. If your official catering estimate exceeds the catering budget that is listed on your Event Proposal from The Cookery, you will be asked to place an additional deposit in order to maintain a 50% catering deposit.

Sound & Visual
Bands access to 3 independent 20watt amps in the Front Room.
Gaff tape is required – all other kinds of tape will remove the floor stain and the band/DJ will be required to pay damage fees. Click here to buy gaff tape!
Below is a breakdown of the A/V for each room of The Cookery.
Front Room: in-house speakers with AUX cord for background/cocktail hour music. Note: These are not made for loud tunes nor do they produce enough volume for dancing. We have a wireless microphone, and 15’ diagonal HD projector screen available for your use.
Courtyard: Two speakers are mounted in the courtyard that are part of the Front Room sound system. Note: These do not connect to the Ballroom Sonos.
Ballroom: Sono Speakers are hidden in the four corners of the room and are great for dinner background music. You will simply need to download the Sonos App (on your phone or tablet) and be on The Cookery’s wifi in order to access our Sonos System.
Garden: There are no outlets or any provided sound system. We highly recommend APR for a rental system, or speak with your DJ or band on providing a small set-up. The nearest outlet is just inside the dressing suite (simply run a cord under the garage door) to play music during your ceremony. Note: you may need an extension cord!
Parking
We have a multitude of free parking spaces available around The Cookery.
Valet parking is included FREE for clients who book events at The Cookery on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays!
Security
We do not provide security. If you would like to hire an event security company, please contact your event lead to schedule!
