How To: Book Time in the Kitchen with Booking Bug
Step-by-Step Instructions
Our General Manager or Assistant Manager will send you a “Welcome to BookingBug” email.
Check your spam or junk mail to ensure it does not go there.
You will receive this email and follow the link included to BookingBug
You will see a screen in BookingBug. You will see a list on the left side, but you will be using the first one for now that reads, A SHIFT AT THE COOKERY. See the example image below:
To the right of that, click BOOK.
Select the side/space of The Cookery that you will be utilizing: KITCHEN or BAKERY
A calendar will load from today (the day you open it and forward 30 days)
AVAILABLE (in blue) means that time is vacant and available for you to book
FULL means you cannot book, and that space is occupied
On the calendar, click the time of day that you would like to reserve (it will then show you the maximum hours that you can book on the far right side.

Click the amount of time/hours that you would like to book.
By doing this, a new screen will open that shows you your selected Booking Details. This is essentially your cart to review what you are trying to purchase, and if you need to adjust your hours (just like online shopping).
When you have review this, click BACK.
Click NEXT – where you can check-out.
We recommend paying in-full at the time of your check out, as it is hard to get that refunded since it is a credit card payment.
Click PAY IN FULL. It will send you a receipt and notify The Cookery that you have reserved time.
You can also click YOUR ACCOUNT up at the top of the browser. It will show you any upcoming bookings that you have made. We recommend double checking this after you book time to make sure it went through.
Remember: You can book up to 30days in advance or as little as 24hrs.
Steps to Book within 24 hours
Send an email to a Cookery representative for permission to book within 24hrs (include your start and end time in that email).
How to See When the Kitchen is Closed
From the home page where you entered BookingBug, click the FRONT ROOM EVENT TAB. See the example images below:
Where there are days in highlighted in blue, it does not mean that the whole day is closed, just a portion of that day. You can still book time on that date, but you must work around that block/private event.
