Getting Started at The Cookery

Step 1 | Fill out an application

Complete and submit the online Membership Application below.
We will review your application and you should receive a response within 5 business days.

Step 2 | Take a Tour

We will email you to schedule your tour of the facility.
All tours are coordinated via email - please refrain from calling our office to schedule your tour.

Step 3 | Certificate of Insurance

At your tour, you will receive information regarding Certificate of Insurace (COI) documentation needed to begin at The Cookery.

Step 4 | Orientation

Once we receive your COI, we will contact you to schedule your orientation.
Your $199 annual membership fee & $500 pre-paid credit will be paid at orientation (cash and check only).
The orientation will familiarize you with our facility, equipment and procedures. You will sign your contract in-person at orientation. Once you have completed your orientation you will receive an official Cookery Membership Packet and your electronic credentials to access the facility.

Step 5 | Regulatory Paperwork

Once you have completed your orientation, you will likely need to submit paperwork to the city, state and/or county (we will guide you through this process).
Receiving your permits and licenses from the proper regulatory agencies can vary, sometimes taking up to 2 weeks.

Step 6 | Paperwork Filed and Shift Scheduled!

The regulatory agency sends you the proper permits, and you send them to The Cookery.
Once we have your permit on file, you will be able to book your first shift in the kitchen through our online scheduling system!
