Stand By Me
Our late spring couple met for first looks and darling couples portraits at local favorite, The Durham Hotel. Right in downtown Durham, this adorable setting is a quick jaunt to The Cookery, where these two recited their vows in front of friends and family and then hosted their gorgeous reception. Through our large garage doors, guests entered the garden and the bride, accompanied by her adoring parents, made her beautiful procession down the aisle. The bright blue skies, greenery, and stunning floral adorned arch made the cobblestone garden an ideal location for this couple to tie the knot.
Striking Beauty Throughout
Following the simply beautiful ceremony, guests were greeted with delightful drinks and passed hors d’oeuvres in the Front Room. This sweet couple had two signature cocktails, a Bee’s Knees and a Manhattan. During cocktail hour the photobooth from ZimZoom started on the balcony letting guests have fun with props and create cute little mementos. Once the cocktail hour winded down, guests found their table numbers on our vintage safe then proceeded to the ballroom for a delicious meal on long tables covered with dainty florals and breath-taking color.
We are always floored with the elegant creativity of our couples. These newlyweds had stunning vintage velvet seats to really set them apart.
Keep the Party Going
Guests continued to celebrate this loving couple in the Front room for joyful dancing and a sweet cake cutting. This is always the highest energy part of every celebration and we love it. This group of loved ones danced the night away with jamming tunes right beside our large chalkboard. This couple opted to forgo a grand exit for a simple departure with those they love most. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.
