The I Dos
This October bride and groom held a lovely outdoor ceremony in the cobblestone garden with 123 of their closest family and friends. The bride walked down the aisle with her parents to ‘At Last’ by Etta James. Their ceremony was officiated by a close friend with readings from loved ones including an excerpt from The Alchemist and a quote from Albert Einstein on Relativity. A simple line of balloons was a beautiful backdrop in our already brightly lit, greenery filled garden. We love how they made their ceremony completely their own!
Reception Vibes
These newlyweds had their cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvres in the Front Room and courtyard followed by a family-style dinner from Durham Catering in the ballroom. Their guests enjoyed an open premium bar for 5 hours. This package includes some of our favorite spirits in addition to local beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. We adore how romantic the space looks with touches of small vases, balloons, bursting blooms, greenery, candlelight and metallic accents.
We swoon over the use of natural color palettes like these cream linens that really accent the natural beauty of the exposed brick, vintage windows, and wood features of the ballroom. The subtle use of color allows for the custom decor details to shine!
Following dinner is the ideal time to shine the spotlight on the lovebirds once again with heartfelt speeches from those that love them most. One of our favorite spots for these toasts that spark laughs and tears are right in front of our ballroom bar.
Let’s Dance
A 16x16 dance floor was positioned right in front of our chalkboard that was beautifully drawn by Marika Wendelken. Their DJ spun some of their favorite tunes like their first dance song, ‘Sea of Love’ by Cat Powers under our romantic market lights. The night continued on with dancing, drinks, and a photo booth for guests to make lasting memories.
